Franklin Forest
This state forest is just a short drive from our property and offers acres of land for hunting, hiking, horse riding, off-road and ATV riding. Franklin Forest offers around 60 miles of side by side trails. With the proper equipment, the forest can even be accessed from the park. Guests will have to go through 5 miles of rural roads to do so.

Russell Cave National Monument

Nickajack Cave and Wildlife Refuge

Partly flooded Nickajack Cave was once a Confederate saltpeter mining operation and is one of the more than 10,000 caves in Tennessee. Take a kayak or small boat and marvel at the bats fluttering harmlessly all around you.
Lookout Mountain
See seven states from Lookout Mountain! Because of the gradual curvature of the Earth, you can see hundreds of miles away with high-powered binoculars. Spend your day immersed in the historic Civil War battle that took place on Lookout Mountain, called the “Battle Above the Clouds.”
Rock City
Just 20 miles away on Lookout Mountain in Northern Georgia, Rock City is the home of Tom Thumb Golf – the world’s first miniature golf course. Intense natural beauty, coupled with garden gnomes and children’s dioramas make Rock City one of the greatest examples of American ingenuity ever. Big fun!
